Located just outside the city of Benidorm, Aqua Natura Water Park offers visitors a fun filled and exciting day out. Set in 40,000 square metres of lovely tropical gardens, the park boasts 5 different zones that provide thrills for all the family. The 9 water slides are very popular and come in all shapes and sizes. There are 2 recent additions to the park, La Cresta is a dizzying 20 metres high and is one of the only water slides in the world that lets brave riders experience zero gravity as they plummet down an enclosed vertical tube that gently curves near the bottom, slowing your decent. Aqua Snake is unique in the sense that riders wind their way down the chute in 3 person rubber rings, a great family ride. Multi Pista brings out the competitor in riders, with its 4 chutes that descend down a series of humps, making for a thrilling race. Plunge into the unknown on the Black Hole, one of the park’s most popular rides that takes you at high speed into total darkness, with the odd strobe flash disorientating you even further.
A stroll along the park’s promenade takes you to the ultimate chill out zone, the Wave Pool. This mini ocean covers an area of 5000 square metres and is a fantastic place for all the family to have fun. The golden sand beach is perfect for sunbathing and the beach bar provides shady parasols to relax under and enjoy a drink. There are 3 islands with tropical plants and waterfalls, a spa area with hydrotherapy water jets and geysers erupting with refreshing fountains. Here, kids can live out their fantasies at Mermaid School where all the mermaid costumes and cute accessories are provided along with essential mermaid swimming techniques from the friendly mermaid staff.
Kids Zone provides a safe environment for young ones up to 4 years of age that is supervised by professionally trained lifeguards, although parents are welcome too. The 2 shallow pools offer fun galore with slides, hidey holes, climbing frames and a thrilling pirate ship complete with bridges, nets and even a gangplank. Another huge hit with the young ones are the smiling sea lions where, accompanied by an adult, kids can interact with these friendly mammals under the watchful eye of an expert trainer.
With all the swimming and activities, visitors to Aqua Natura are sure to work up an appetite, and there are a choice of restaurants available as well as areas for visitors to enjoy their own picnic. Alternately, the park has a VIP Zone where family and friends can enjoy swimming and relaxing in a reserved area where the VIP deal includes a locker, table and chairs, sun lounger, double rubber ring and a tasty meal as well as 3 drinks. Booking a VIP deal is a good idea, especially in the peak summer period when the park can get extremely busy.
