“Benidorm All Year Round”

I have lived on the Costa Blanca (La Nucia) for 10 years now and moved from the hustle and bustle of London with my husband Stefan and 2 children – then aged 4 and 8. Having school age children I feel that I have a good knowledge of the different education systems here as one went to an International (English) school whilst the other to a Spanish school. I also became, and still am involved with a ex-pat social club called “Companians” based in Albir of which I am the deputy President – with over 500 members – therefore also having a good understanding of the needs of ex-pat pensioners relocating to live their retirements out in the sun.
I started Benidorm All Year Round back in November giving what I thought (and hope) is useful and interesting information about anything happening in Benidorm and the surrounding areas. All the articles are my own views and opinions and are totally unbiased – I do not take payment from any places I have visited or written about. I write as I find – good or bad!

I have also added property sales onto the blog as I found the extortionate fees charged by some estate agents of up to 5% were horrendous – I only charge a realistic 1% commission which will enable me to run the blog and research stories.

I recently worked with the producers of ITV Daybreak co-ordinating shoots and research for them and now also regularly have a column in the Euro Weekly News.
