Here in Spain, quite often people have questions because they are at a loss about the Spanish health and social services, SIP cards, English speaking doctors, specialists, other medical practitioners, hospitals, chemists etc.

All these questions are answered in the well-known “Tell the Doctor” booklet, which provides extensive information about these and many other related subjects. It is bilingual (English-Spanish) and enables you to communicate with Spanish doctors, and other health and/or social care providers when it is most important and that is when your health and well-being are involved! When you consider what it will cost you in translation services each time you visit a doctor or need to go to a hospital, the ”Tell the Doctor” booklet is a small price to pay. Don’t get me wrong, most Spanish doctors do speak English, especially in the cities or popular holiday resort areas but for those holidaying or living in the more remote areas and villages, this is a very handy booklet indeed.

For 6,50 euros this is one of the best investments you can ever make.

For more information and to order, go to the Tell the Doctor website.

The booklet is also available in French, German and Dutch. See: ww.verteldedokter.es
Wouldn’t this be a great idea for a gift to your non-English friends?

Many of you who read this will already have a copy of “Tell the Doctor”. In that case, please feel free to comment below, to show to others that you recommend it. Or even better: Write a short review. We would really appreciate that. Thanks!
